How often should I visit the dentist for a check-up?

Prevention is always better than cure so at CDC Dental in Sydney CBD, we recommend visiting the dentist for a checkup and clean every six months. This allows us to catch anything that might be a concern early which means we can intervene and generally this saves you on costlier treatment down the track.

What should I do if I have a dental question or concern outside of office hours?

Please don’t hesitate to give us a call on (02) 9231 3822 and leave us a message. One of our friendly team will come back to you as soon as possible. We can then work out if you need to be seen same day and provide any additional advice to support you. You can also send us a message via Messenger chat on our website and if a staff member is available to respond, we will come back to you immediately.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept all health funds and have HICAPS available for same-day rebates.

What payment options do you accept for dental treatments?

Depending on the complexity of your treatment and the costs involved, we can discuss a payment plan. Otherwise we do also accept ZipPay.

I’m experiencing a dental emergency. Can I get same-day treatment?

We will always do our best to see you on the same day depending on availability and also the urgency of your particular situation. The best thing to do if you are experiencing a dental emergency is give us a call on (02) 9231 3822 so that we can learn more about what you’re experiencing and make a plan to treat you appropriately from there.

What advanced dental technology do you utilize in your practice?

We offer Digital Smile Design which uses state-of-the-art 3D digital scanning technology to produce a 3D smile simulation which allows patients to see what their smile may look like after treatment. This 3D scanning technology is ideal for use with crowns, clear aligners and mouthguards. We also have EMS Airflow which is a highly effective but gentle professional cleaning device that our oral health therapist uses to deliver a much better outcome than a traditional scrape and polish.

Do you offer cosmetic dentistry services?

What should I do if I have a cracked or chipped tooth?

Give us a call or book an appointment online so that one of our dentists can investigate the damage to your tooth and explain the options to restore it. This might include a crown, veneer or a white filling.
